While factory control arms are suitable for factory-sized tires and suspension, larger tires require stronger and longer control arms to maintain the proper Pinion angle. These control arms are specifically designed to preserve suspension and driveline geometry, ensuring that your vehicle handles just as well, if not better, as it did with the stock arms. Even when adding a lift to your Avalanche, these control arms will help maintain driveline angles and prevent vibration and u joint failure. With the ability to adjust from stock to 6" of lift, these control arms are ideal for those who plan on adding more lift over time, allowing for easy customization without sacrificing reliability.

Control Arm lengths

If upgrading from factory control arms, ensure you set the length to the correct lift size to keep your steering geometry accurate. The larger the lift, the longer the control arms. Don't assume your lift size; if you are unsure, contact the lift kit manufacturer to verify your lift size. The Instructions will give you the measurements to set each control arm to match your lift; an alignment is recommended after installation to ensure all alignment angles are proper.
