Performance & Design

The FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is engineered to deliver improved ride quality and control in demanding conditions. Hydraulic Top-Out (HTO) technology provides usable position-sensitive rebound damping by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack, slowing shaft speed at full extension. This reduces harsh top-outs and enhances overall comfort—especially beneficial for vehicles running larger, heavier tires or lifted beyond factory specifications.

Combined with a larger shock body and increased oil capacity, this design improves heat management and damping consistency during extended use, whether on the highway or off-road.
