Performance Benefits

The Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is designed to improve both on-road comfort and off-road capability. Its larger piston and increased oil volume help reduce fade under heavy use, while the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen for consistent performance.

HTO technology provides position-sensitive rebound damping by routing oil through a secondary shim stack, slowing shaft speed near full extension. This reduces harsh top-out conditions and improves overall ride comfort—especially beneficial for vehicles running heavier tires or operating with lifts beyond factory specifications.
