When adding any lift to a Dodge Ram, you change your caster angles which can create dangerous steering symptoms and make it harder to maintain proper wheel tracking, which can cause your vehicle to wander between the lines easier. Big tires and lifts look great, but don't sacrifice handling and create a beast to keep on the road; upgrade your control arm and drive easily. Control Arm lengths
If upgrading from factory control arms, set the length to the correct lift size to keep your steering geometry accurate. The larger the lift, the longer the control arms. Don't assume your lift size; contact the lift kit manufacturer to verify your lift size if you are unsure. The Instructions will give you the measurements to set each control arm to match your lift; an alignment is recommended after installation to ensure proper alignment angles.
