When adding any amount of lift to a Dodge Ram, you change your caster angles which can create dangerous steering symptoms and make it harder to maintain proper wheel tracking, which can cause your vehicle to wander between the lines easier.  Control Arm lengths 

If upgrading from factory control arms, set the length to the correct lift size to keep your steering geometry accurate. The larger the lift, the longer the control arms. Don't assume your lift size; if you are unsure, contact the lift kit manufacturer to verify your size. The Instructions will give you the measurements to set each control arm to match your lift; an alignment is recommended after installation to ensure proper alignment angles.
