2002-2013 Cadillac Escalade Rear Adjustable track bar
The adjustable track bar is an essential part of a lifted straight axle vehicle. The track bar is used to center your axle from left to right; if the length is not correct for your lift, you can create significant alignment issues like dog tracking, brake pull, and the infamous death wobble. If you are running a pitman arm drop, you should also have a track bar drop bracket to keep angles correct and help with preventing the death wobble. When lifting your vehicle any more than 2" without a track bar drop bracket, your track bar might need to be upgraded to an adjustable track bar to correct the alignment issues. If the track bar drop back is not dead on for your lift size, you might not be able to get the axle adequately centered; that is when the adjustable track bar should be used with the drop bracket to correct the issue.
